Asian Handicap

User Rating:  / 31
PoorBest

Asian Handicap Betting offers the underdog of the game with an early leading before the kick off. The main advantage of Asian Handicaps is that the draw is eliminated.

In the Standard bet, the possibilities of each outcome is 33% as we told you before. In Asian handicapping, the draw option is eliminated. You have two options. Betting on home or away. So, is Asian handicapping something for you?

Personally, I prefer Asian Handicap instead of standard bet due to winning possibility. However, one goal can chance everything in your favor or the opposite side.

Let us make you understand with explanations below.

There are lots of types of Asian Handicap Bets and you will read some of them through this page.

Handicap (0)

(Called also Level Ball or Draw No Bet - DNB)

Here the game starts 0-0. No advance is given to any team. Draw option is eliminated.

Handicap (+0.25)

Here the game starts 0-1/4. The underdog team is advanced with a quarter goal before the kick off. Draw option is eliminated. It is more complicated from half Asian handicaps. You win, win half, lose or lose half stake of your bet. Lets examine it by the example below..

Handicap (+0.50)

Here the game starts 0-1/2. The underdog team is advanced with a half goal before the kick off. Draw option is eliminated. In addition, there is no Money Back in any case. You will win or lose your money

Handicap (+0.75)

Here the game starts 0-3/4. The underdog team is advanced with a quarter goal before the kick off. Draw option is eliminated. It is different from 1/4 Asian handicap by a slight exception.

Handicap (+1)

If you choose the -1 handicapped selection, your team needs to win by at least 2 clear goals for your bet to win. If your team only wins by one goal then the stake is refunded.

If you select the team who has a one goal lead (+1) then you win if they win or draw. If your team lose by just one goal then stake is refunded. This is a good bet if you fancy an underdog to get a result. Even if you are wrong, if they can limit the defeat to just one goal then you don't lose.

Handicap (+1.25)

Win by any score or draw - All bets on this selection are winners
Lose by exactly 1 - Half the stake is settled at the price of the chosen selection. The other half is refunded to the customer
Lose by 2 or more - All bets on this selection are losers

Handicap (+1.5)

Here, if you bet the -1.5 handicapped team you win if the team wins the match by two or more goals.

If you select the team which has a start (+1.5) then you win if the team wins or draws. You also win if it loses by one goal!

In the event that a whole number is used for the handicap, the handicap adjusted final score could result in a draw. This situation is not a draw, but a push. With a push, all bettors have their original wagers returned as there is no winner.

Soccer - Benitez eyes massive win

Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez has urged his side to secure a victory at home to fifth-placed Spurs on Wednesday to all but ensure a top-four finish and Champions League football next season. The Blues are 10/11 with bet365 to triumph at Stamford Bridge and move six points clear of Spurs with just two subsequent games to play, with Chelsea desperate to return to Champions League action after winning the trophy last season. A greatly superior goal difference means that a victory would all but secure a top-four spot for the Blues, with Benitez well aware of the importance of the derby clash. "If we can win we will be there, but Tottenham are a good team and it will be a final for the top four," Benitez told the club's official website. "Winning is crucial for us, it's even more important for them. We will try to win because we know it will guarantee a top-four finish."

Rugby Union - Moody: Lions win a must

Former England captain Lewis Moody says that the British & Irish Lions have to win their series in Australia for it to be considered a success. The Lions are 8/11 with bet365 to win the three-match series Down Under, with Moody feeling that the pressure will be on Warren Gatland's touring party. However, Moody has also backed the Lions to win their first three-match series since a 2-1 triumph in South Africa back in 1997. Moody warned: "He (Gatland) has to win. You look back on any Lions tour that have gone in the past, what do you consider a success? We only look at the winning tours, it's as simple as that. "Are we going to win it? Yes we are. We certainly have the players to do so and I think Australia aren't the team that they used to be." The first Test takes place at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Saturday 22nd June.

Soccer - Michu misses key Wigan clash

Wigan Athletic can move out of the Premier League relegation zone with a win at home to Swansea City on Tuesday, and the visitors will be without leading scorer Michu for the game. The Spaniard has scored 17 top-flight goals in his first season in England, but is unlikely to feature again this term due to a hamstring problem. This news will come as a major boost to the Latics, who are 4/5 with bet365 to win the clash at the DW Stadium and move out of the bottom three with just two subsequent games to play. However, Wigan have injury problems of their own, with a groin injury meaning that left-back Maynor Figueroa is unlikely to play again this season, while Jean Beausejour suffered a hamstring problem in the 3-2 win at West Brom at the weekend. Better news comes with Antolin Alcaraz likely to be fit after hamstring trouble of his own to bolster a Latics backline which has not kept a clean sheet in their last five games.
